Company Background

String Systems are a fast-growing Microsoft Solutions Partner based in North West England, servicing clients across the United Kingdom and beyond. Working with clients to truly understand their business challenges and opportunities; we deploy tailored cloud technology solutions that empower their employees, allow them to flex between on-premises and cloud infrastructures, and to deploy the latest generation of cyber security and business continuity technology. We then provide ongoing comprehensive managed support services; allowing our clients to focus on their business, while we take care of the IT stuff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Make outbound calls to UK businesses to introduce String and our Microsoft-led solutions.
  • Speak to decision-makers, understand their challenges, and start meaningful conversations.
  • Qualifying inbound leads from campaigns, forms, or downloads to ensure they meet the criteria for sales follow-up.
  •  Working with the marketing team to craft better outreach strategies based on feedback from calls.
  • Testing different messaging or offers to identify what resonates best with prospects.
  • Book qualified meetings for our sales team – that’s the main goal.
  • Keep track of activity in our CRM (Dynamics).
  • Learning the basics of Microsoft solutions so they can have informed conversations with prospects.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to follow up on campaigns, events, and leads.
  • Spot trends, feed insights back to the team, and help us refine our message.

What we are looking for:

  • Someone who’s naturally chatty but knows when to listen.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and having honest, intelligent conversations.
  • Resilient – you’re not fazed by knock-backs and know how to keep going.
  • A quick learner who can get their head around what we do (don’t worry, we’ll train you).
  • Someone who cares about doing a good job, not just hitting numbers.
  • Experience in B2B telemarketing or lead gen is a big plus, but attitude matters more.

Working Hours:

Our standard office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, but we’re open to part-time or flexible working arrangements for the right candidate. This role could be a great fit for someone who needs to work around school hours or other commitments.

We understand that timing matters in telemarketing – no one wants a sales call first thing on a Monday morning! So we’re happy to work with you to find a schedule that aligns with when prospects are most receptive and when you’re at your best.

This role will be based within our Preston office.
