Telemarketing Executive

We are a fast-growing Managed IT Services Provider based in Preston, Lancashire, servicing clients across the United Kingdom. The Role

We are looking to expand our sales and marketing team with an in-house telemarketer. As a Telemarketing Executive, you’ll be responsible for generating new business leads for our sales team. You’ll carry out lead generation business to business calls with a main target of setting appointments.

Here at String, we value a hardworking and passionate character, we don’t care if you don’t have a degree or PHD (although it’s fab if you do) and we’re not asking for a million years of experience in order to do the job. We are building a team of A players, that’s why education and experience is great but not essential. If you’re keen to learn, focused, and a team player, we’re interested!

If you’re exceptional at building instant rapport with customers over the telephone, great at holding a conversation and have the determination to push through what can be a difficult role, this could be the job for you! Oh, and one last thing, we love a good laugh here at String, so banter and a great sense of humour will always stand you in good stead.

 

Duties

  • Become knowledgeable in our product and service offering.
  • New business outbound calls to discuss IT infrastructure & cloud journeys with a goal of setting appointments and generating leads.
  • Finding new business opportunities through various platforms such as LinkedIn.
  • Demonstrating a consultative sales technique with an ability to understand the needs of each client and changing your approach accordingly.
  • Work with marketing to nurture leads and generate sales.
  • Taking customer insights & feedback and turning those into strategic decisions for the future of the business.
  • Keeping an up to date record of calls made and lead statuses from databases.

 

What can you expect?

  • Location: Preston, Lancashire
  • £18,000 – £22,000 basic salary, dependent on experience + commission
  • Full-time or Part-time position available
  • Permanent
  • Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm but we’re happy to offer flexible working

What experience and qualities will you need?

  • Experience of generating leads, business development, telesales, or telemarketing is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of IT and cloud technology is preferred but not essential, training will be provided.
  • Confident, professional telephone manner is essential.
  • Able to build rapport and communicate with ease.
  • Good IT skills and diligent in recording notes.
  • The ability to spot potential sales opportunities.
  • Cheerful, energetic, and positive attitude.
